We are a volunteer organisation advocating for and empowering ATTR amyloidosis patients across all of Ireland.

Our goal is to raise awareness of ATTR amyloidosis, to advocate for a speedy diagnosis, for access to the best treatments available, and to offer support to anyone who needs us.

NEW DOCUMENTARY

Emerging from the Shadows

Starring Daniel O’Donnell, conference speakers, Amyloidosis Ireland Advocates and more — we filmed this short documentary at our first conference to help raise awareness of the condition, our expert talks, and to help bring the community together.

The conference speakers

Rewatch Ireland’s first conference on amyloidosis

We hosted Ireland’s first conference on amyloidosis in An Chúirt Hotel, Gweedore, Co. Donegal.

We recorded all the expert talks on subjects like; the need for early diagnosis, the prevalence of ATTR T60a and its Donegal history, and about new treatments and clinical trials available now.

Join our community on Facebook

We founded a private Facebook group so that patients and families can learn and share their experiences with amyloidosis — and a public page for raising awareness.
